Ministries

There are various ministries at MGC organized to reflect different departments. They include the Christ Ambassodors (Youth), Utukufu Choir (Children), Macedonia Voice (Praise and Worship), Prayers and Intercession, Women as Servants of Chirst & Men’s Organisation.

Church Planting

So far, MGC has planted two churches one located at Mapinduzi  Village and the other one at Chinyoya Village both of which are located in Dodoma Municipality. It is the desire of MGC to plant at least one church every year. The goal is to make sure that we bring to Jesus as many souls as possible knowing that the night is coming, and then no one can work (John 9: 4).

Programmes

MGC has various projects which are currently under implementation. They include: (1) Preschool Programme; (2) Adult Education Programme; (3) Programme for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) and (4) Makedonia Development Foundation (MAKDEF). The main purpose of all these programmes is to improve the church and community welfare. Although MGC is still at infancy stage in terms of the number of years of its existence and consequently, state of its programmes, there is much hope in the future that God will uplift us in ways that will glorify His name.

Establishment

MGC officially started on 15th June 2006 following Pastor Vicent S. Malenda’s vision to plant a church in the area of Kisasa. In its early stages of life, the church had a total of 3 believers constituted by the pastor himself, his wife (Mrs. Julia Malenda) and their son, Immanuel Malenda. All services were held in a sitting room rented by the pastor for residential purposes. Under God’s grace, two years thereafter; that is by 2008, the church had grown reaching a total of 70 believers. In addition to this quantitative growth, the church witnessed significant spiritual growth as well as managed to secure one hactre where the church building is now located. Construction of the temporary service building commenced immediately in 2008 and in the same year the construction process was completed thus enabling running of all services in the new building. Up to January 2013, the church had a total of 217 believers (122 adults; 95 children).
